Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Platform of MetaGo Healthcare Pvt Ltd. (“MetaGo”, or “We”, or “Our”, or “Us”).


For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs” or “Terms”), the term “Platform” refers to MetaGo’s website, application, web-based tools, and any other digital or online channels through which MetaGo provides its Services, including designated communication channels such as WhatsApp Business accounts.


The terms “You”, “Your” or “User” refer to You as the user (irrespective of whether You are a Registered User, Health Care Provider (“HCP”) or a Non-Registered User). In the event the Platform is being used by a third party from Your device/User ID (with or without Your consent), the expression “You”, “Your” or the “User” shall apply to such person as well. 


These T&Cs set out how MetaGo provides its services, which include a GLP-1 based weight-management program, facilitation of GLP-1 medications prescribed by doctors, telemedicine consultations with registered medical practitioners, diagnostic tests, nutritional and behavioral coaching, risk-score and progress assessments, connected devices such as smart scales and measuring tools, associated logistics for delivery and pickup, and payment and financing options (collectively, the "Service(s)"), the responsibility and liability of MetaGo, and Your rights and responsibilities as a User.


For the purpose of these T&Cs, “Personal Data” has the meaning given to it in Our Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice (“Policy”) and includes, among other things, Your identity and contact information, health, medical and diagnostic information, lifestyle and wellness data, technical and device information, financial and transactional information, and information generated by Our care team during provision of the Services. 


References in these T&Cs to Your health-related information should be understood as referring to the health, medical and diagnostic information, lifestyle and wellness data, laboratory data, and other clinical indicators described in the Policy.


 For these T&Cs, HCP means any qualified and duly licensed medical or allied health professional, including but not limited to:


- Doctors registered with the National Medical Commission (formerly Medical Council of India) or the relevant State Medical Council under applicable laws;

- Health coaches, nutritionists, behavioral therapists, or counsellors possessing relevant academic qualifications, certifications, or registrations as required under applicable laws; and

- Any other healthcare professional, technician, or allied service provider empanelled or authorised by MetaGo to deliver consultations, guidance, diagnostic interpretation, or related wellness services through the Platform.


All HCPs, including doctors, are engaged with MetaGo as independent consultants. Only doctors provide medical care and are responsible for  making clinical decisions, including:

  • Whether GLP-1 medications are required to be prescribed  
  • Dosage, continuation, or treatment changes 


Understanding these T&Cs is important because, by using Our Services, You are agreeing to these T&Cs. If You do not agree to any of these T&Cs, please do not access or use the Platform and the Services any further.


If there is any inconsistency in any terms of these T&Cs, the specific terms that relate to a Service would prevail over the general terms.


The defined terms are provided under the Glossary towards the end of this page.


These T&Cs include the following:

  • Platform’s Terms of Use;
  • Terms and Conditions of following Services;
  • GLP-1 Weight Management Program;
  • Telemedicine Consultations (“Teleconsultation”) 
  • Diagnostic Tests and Laboratory Services
  • Devices and Digital Tools; and
  • Payment, and  EMI Options

Disclaimer

This Disclaimer applies to all persons who access or browse the MetaGo website, platform, or related digital interfaces (“You”).

All content, information, programs, and communications made available on MetaGo prior to registration are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Mere access to the platform does not create a doctor–patient, healthcare provider–patient, or any other professional relationship.

Diagnostic tests and investigations are conducted through third-party laboratories. Medical consultations and telemedicine services, where offered, are provided only after registration by registered medical practitioners who are engaged or empanelled by MetaGo, in accordance with applicable laws and professional guidelines. Clinical decisions, advice, and prescriptions are based on the professional judgment of the consulting medical practitioner.

MetaGo does not manufacture any drugs and does not make any representations or guarantees regarding medical outcomes, including weight loss or treatment efficacy. Any references to expected outcomes or program objectives are indicative only, and results may vary based on individual circumstances and clinical factors.

Unregistered users should not rely on any information available on the platform for medical or health-related decision-making. Any reliance placed on such information is strictly at the user’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MetaGo disclaims all liability arising from the use of the platform by unregistered users prior to registration.

Access to healthcare services, diagnostic testing, teleconsultations, and participation in any treatment or wellness program are subject to registration and governed by the applicable Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy upon acceptance thereof.


  • PLATFORM’S TERMS OF USE:


PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. BY CONTINUING TO ACCESS AND USE THIS WEBSITE AND BY COMMUNICATING WITH US THROUGH PLATFORM, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU ACCEPT OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF USE, DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM 


These T&Cs, Policy, together with any other policies which may be applicable to specific portions of the Platform and Disclaimers present on the Platform are jointly referred to as “Agreement” and constitute the terms of Your access and use of the Platform and the Services. Where any part of the Agreement is modified in accordance with the terms of the Agreement, the Agreement shall be enforceable in its modified form. The Agreement supersedes all previous oral and written terms and conditions (if any) communicated to You relation to the Service.




  • Platform:


MetaGo owns and operates the website <link> and may provide certain Services and communication through Platform. The Platform may be used by Users to avail Services and/or to find, access, manage and organize information including but not limited to Personal Data or non-Personal Data.


  • Access and Usage Rights of Users:


  • Non - Registered User: A Non - Registered User is not permitted to access or make use of the Platform for any purpose other than the following permitted use:
  • To browse the Platform without accessing any Services.
  • To use the ‘Self-Assessment Tool’.
  • To share the Platform Link via social media applications.


  • HCP Users: HCP that accesses the Platform through a dedicated account provided by MetaGo to deliver Services to Users, subject to the limitations and instructions communicated by MetaGo from time to time


  • Registered User: A Registered User is specifically permitted to:
  • Enjoy all the access and usage rights of a Non-Registered User;
  • Access and use the Services subject to such limitations and restrictions as are prescribed under the Agreement or may be otherwise communicated to Registered User from time to time through any contact information shared by such User at the time of registration.
  • Receive Service-related messages and instructions via WhatsApp or other communication channels linked to their registered mobile number


  • Primary User: Shall refer to such person, who is or above 18 Years of age, and of valid capacity to contract, who shall access, and enjoy the Platform and the various Services provided therein, and in certain cases provide access to other persons. Such person will have control over the features and functions of the Platform, and associated services that may be accessed, either by them, or such other persons.


  • Content:


  • Categories of Data and Information : The data and information available on the Platform may be categorized as follows:
  • Data and information generated or provided by Non-registered Users, HCP Registered Users and Registered Users on the Platform (“User Content”).
  • Data and information which MetaGo (through itself or its contractors) has generated or procured for the Platform and includes data and information generated or provided by HCPs (“MetaGo Content”).


  • Categories of Personal Data: The data and information available to MetaGo from the Services may be categorized as follows:
  • Personal Data that is necessary for use of Platform but non-specific to the Service provided.
  • Service specific Personal Data that is provided by the user in course of availing the Service.


  • General Terms of Use:


  • As required by law, You must be at least 18 years of age or older, of sound mind and not debarred under any law to contract in order to access and use the Platform and Services as a Primary User. In no case shall minors access to the Platform or Services.


  • All Services will be requested for and provided to the Primary User only. 


  • You will not share Your log-in details with anyone. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your account access information and password. You shall be responsible for all usage of Your account and password, whether or not authorized by You. You shall immediately notify MetaGo of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of the Your account or password. MetaGo will not be liable for Your losses or damages caused by any unauthorized use of Your account. You may be liable for the losses or damages to MetaGo or others due to such unauthorized use.


  • You will use the Platform and the features provided on it only in relation to and in compliance with all applicable Indian laws. You will not use the Platform, or any feature for any purposes not intended under the Agreement.


  • The Platform and the Services are intended to be used by Users located in India. If You access the Platform or avail any Service from outside India, You do so at Your own risk, and MetaGo is not responsible for compliance with any foreign laws. In case You are travelling outside India during Your treatment, You should inform the HCP treating You about the same and carry necessary prescription medicines from India. In case You need to purchase any medicines prescribed by Our HCPs during Your overseas stay, You should have any advice or prescription obtained through the Platform reviewed by a locally registered medical practitioner.


  • You will not deliberately use the Platform in any way that is unlawful or harms MetaGo, its directors, employees, affiliates, distributors, partners, service providers and/or any User and/or data or content on the Platform.


  • You will not use the Platform for any illegal, immoral, offensive purpose or for any other purpose that may infringe or violate any applicable laws and regulations.


  • You will not interfere, disrupt or hamper with the proper functioning of the Platform.


  • You understand that as part of Your registration process as well as in course of Your use of the Platform, You may receive communication from MetaGo on Your registered contact information including SMS, WhatsApp messages, emails and phone calls. These communications will relate to Your registration, appointments and consultations, diagnostic tests, payments and billing, security alerts, Service updates and other information that MetaGo considers relevant for Your use of the Services.


  • You represent that You are not a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws applicable in India. MetaGo may also send You reminders and notifications for features that You use on the Platform.


By accepting these T&Cs and, where required, You provide Us with Your consent to collect Your Personal Data from relevant HCPs and to deliver such information to You, including through the secure links/messages, one time-passwords or other authentication mechanisms. You consent to receive such communications from MetaGo on Your registered contact details to avail Services.


  • MetaGo’s Rights to the Platform and MetaGo’s Content:


  • Intellectual property rights and grant of license: MetaGo respects the intellectual property rights of others, and We expect the same from You. The Platform, User Content and MetaGo Content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. 

All intellectual property in and to the Platform and all software, techniques and processes used in connection with the aforesaid, belongs exclusively to MetaGo or its licensors. As a User, You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform as per the terms of the Agreement. Through Your use of the Platform, by no means are any intellectual property rights impliedly or expressly granted by MetaGo to You in respect of such works.


  • MetaGo trademark and copyright ownership: MetaGo and/or its licensors assert all proprietary rights in and to all names, logos and trademarks contained in the Platform. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, the name and logo of MetaGo is/are the trademarks and copyright (inclusive of any other applicable intellectual property right) of MetaGo and/or its licensors. Any use of such name or logo, unless otherwise authorized in a written agreement, will constitute an infringement upon the trademark and copyright (or any other such intellectual property right) of MetaGo and/or its licensors and may be actionable under applicable laws.
  • Limited license for personal use: When You use the Platform in accordance with the Agreement, a limited royalty-free right is granted to You by MetaGo to use MetaGo Content only for personal and non-commercial use in India for the term of the Agreement.


  • No implied license: Unless explicitly stated herein in these T&Cs, nothing in the Agreement shall be construed as conferring on You any license to intellectual property rights, whether by estoppel, implication, or otherwise.


  • No reproduction and modification: Unless expressly authorized by MetaGo, You agree not to reproduce, modify, sell, distribute, mirror, frame, republish, download, transmit, or create derivative works of the MetaGo Content, in whole or in part, by any means. You must not remove or modify any copyright or trademark notice, or other notice of ownership or other proprietary notices displayed on or embedded in the Platform or MetaGo Content.


  • Rights in User Content:


You agree that You are the sole owner of all rights (including all intellectual property rights) in the User Content that You post, submit, upload, transmit or otherwise make available on or through the Platform to MetaGo.


To the extent permissible by law, You hereby grant MetaGo a perpetual, -revocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to make use of such User Content including the right to copy, store, distribute, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, the User Content, and for complying with legal obligations and for other purposes described in the Policy.


  • User Consent & Privacy:


  • Personal Data collection and processing: During Your interaction with the Platform and the Services, MetaGo may need to collect and process certain Personal Data including your health, medical and diagnostic information and lifestyle and wellness data, about You, and use of such information are governed by these T&Cs and the Policy displayed to You. 


The specific categories of Personal Data collected (including identity and contact information, health, medical and diagnostic information, lifestyle and wellness data, technical and device information, financial and transactional information, and information generated by Our care team), processing purposes, legal basis, retention periods, recipient categories, international transfers, security measures, and Your rights (including withdrawal, access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal) are detailed in Policy.


  • Privacy Policy governance:  Our Policy sets out the terms with respect to the collection, storage, use, processing, transfer, and disclosure of any such Personal Data.


  • Consent request: Where consent is required by law, MetaGo seeks Your consent through a clear affirmative action on the Platform (for example, by clicking an “I accept” or equivalent button or selecting specific consent options). Your consent is free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous and is limited to the Personal Data necessary for the purposes notified to You as detailed in the Policy. 


  • Multi-purpose consent: MetaGo may obtain single consent for different purposes, such as provision of core Services (GLP1 based weight management) and optional purposes (including but not limited to analytics and service improvement, direct marketing, testimonials and participation in community features and other related or proposed future Services) described in the Policy displayed to You. You may withhold or later withdraw Your consent for any optional purpose without affecting Your ability to access the core Services, except where such processing is strictly necessary for those Services.


  • Data protection: MetaGo is required by law to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of Your Personal Data and adopts reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect it, although no system can be guaranteed as completely secure. MetaGo may access and use Your Personal Data where reasonably necessary to provide Services or to address deficiencies in the Services, investigate and resolve complaints or grievances, comply with legal or regulatory obligations or ensure quality and safety.


  • Third party sharing: Once You have provided information to Us and subject to the applicable law, We may share it with other third parties where such sharing is necessary for Service delivery or is legally required. These parties are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and to protect your Personal Data to a standard comparable to that adopted by MetaGo. MetaGo does not share your Personal Data without necessity and restricts such sharing to what is required for providing the Services or to comply with applicable law.


  • Impact of non-disclosure: If You choose not to provide certain information or later withdraw consent for processing data that is necessary to deliver some or all of the Services, MetaGo may be unable to provide or continue those Services to You.


  • Other Websites / Mobile Applications:


  • Third Party Content disclaimer: You may be provided with links on the Platform that direct You to third party websites / applications / content or service providers (collectively “Third Party Content”).

MetaGo does not control or make any representations or warranties regarding the availability and performance of any Third‑Party Content, including its availability, accuracy, legality, security, privacy practices or terms of use. We are not responsible for the content, terms of use, privacy policies and practices of such third party websites.


  • User independent judgement: Please exercise Your independent judgment and prudence when visiting / using any Third-Party Content via a link available on the Platform. Should You decide to click on the links to visit such Third-Party Content, You do so on Your own volition. Your usage of such Third-Party Content is subject to the terms of use of the respective Third-Party Content and MetaGo is not responsible for Your use of any Third-Party Content.


  • Non applicability of T&Cs to Third Party Content: These T&Cs do not apply or extend to the Agreement to any other websites/applications except for Our Platform. MetaGo does not guarantee the security of any Personal Data You choose to provide directly to third parties, even where You access them through links on the Platform, and You should review their privacy and security practices before sharing any information. MetaGo does not endorse any Third‑Party Content that You may access through the Platform. 

MetaGo does not endorse or assume any Third-Party Content that You may be directed to from the Platform.


  • MetaGo’s Responsibilities:


  • HCP’s Credibility: MetaGo will make reasonable efforts to onboard HCPs who are appropriately qualified and, where required, registered with the relevant medical or professional councils at the time of their engagement. MetaGo’s verification is limited to such checks and does not amount to endorsement of any particular HCP or guarantee of clinical outcomes. You may notify MetaGo of any concerns or deficiencies regarding an HCP, and MetaGo may, where feasible, arrange an alternative HCP for You. 


You are free to flag and inform MetaGo of any outstanding issues, and/ or service related concerns concerning the HCP. The presence of such concerns  will be sufficient grounds for Your to request an alternative HCP for Services opted by You. 


  • Service Levels:


Subject to applicable law, MetaGo will use commercially reasonable efforts to  keep the Platform available to Registered Users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except where unavailability results from:

  • Planned downtime that will be communicated in advance to Registered Users;
  • Any unavailability caused by circumstances beyond Our reasonable control, including without limitation, cyber-attacks, acts of God, acts of government or regulatory authority, any mandate under applicable law, flood, fire, earthquakes, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes or other labour problems, or internet service provider or/and web hosts failures or delays, denial of service attack, and/or Your acts or omissions, equipment, software or any other technology of Yours, or any third party acting on Your behalf.
  • When such Service is rendered under a time-schedule, in which case, the obligation of MetaGo under provisions of these Terms shall be limited to making available such Service during the time-schedule. This obligation will also be subject to (ii) and (iii) above;
  • When the Registered User is outside the operational coverage of Service, MetaGo may schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and may substitute HCPs where necessary.


  • Non-registered User responsibility limitation: MetaGo has no responsibility towards Non-registered User for providing Services.


  • Registered User service limitation: For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby clarified that MetaGo’s responsibility towards Registered User will be limited to the provision of the Services as per the T&Cs of the Agreement.


  • Illegal activity reporting: If MetaGo suspects any illegal, wrongful or fraudulent activity on the Platform by any User, notwithstanding any other rights MetaGo may have against such User, MetaGo reserves the right to inform the relevant government or law enforcement authorities. MetaGo will cooperate in all investigative procedures or requests for access / information initiated by any such government or law enforcement authorities. MetaGo reserves the right to refuse Service at any time without providing any reasons.


  • Right to modify Services: MetaGo reserves the right to add new functionality, remove existing functionality, and modify existing functionality to its Services as and when it deems fit, and make any such changes available in newer versions of the Platform at its discretion. All Users of its Services will be duly notified upon release of such newer versions and MetaGo reserves the right to automatically upgrade all Users to the latest version of its Services as and when it deems fit.


  • Service limitation: The Platform and Services may be subject to certain limitations, such as, limits on storage space, limit on bandwidth, unexpected downtime, unavailability of HCPs due to unforeseen circumstances, etc.


  • Legal Compliances:


MetaGo will adopt all reasonable measures to comply with all applicable central and state government regulations and directives relating to the Services, including health‑care, telemedicine and data‑protection requirements.


You may consequently be required to carry out certain tasks, or verifications such as KYC checks, declarations or other actions to enable such compliance. If You do not complete a required verification or task, MetaGo may refuse, suspend or discontinue some or all of the Services. In accepting these T&Cs, You accept that You will carry out these obligations and verifications when requested of You. 


  • Data Collection Recording, Storage, Encryption & Usage:


  • Data storage: Information stored on the Platform may be entered by You or by a HCP in the course of Services provided by MetaGo. The information collected as part of the Services may be stored on Your device as well as on a third-party cloud platform (“Cloud Service Provider”) or server (“Storage Service Provider”) engaged by MetaGo.


  • Authorisation and consent for Data collection: You understand that all information that You are providing to MetaGo in the course of Your usage of the Platform, or the Services offered, is information that You are authorized to provide and that You do not cause harm in providing, and is provided with full knowledge and understanding that the same shall be processed.


You provide MetaGo access to information for collection and/ or storage in the following explicit manner:


  • When You register on Our Platform,
  • When You provide Your Personal Information to Us,
  • During the course of Services provided to You by Us,
  • When You use the features on Our Platform,
  • Through Your device, once You have granted permissions to Our Platform (discussed below),
  • By the use of cookies (also discussed below).


  • Consent for Data use and processing: You provide informed, free and unconditional consent to MetaGo to use the Personal Data collected and stored, in all legally acceptable manner to meet the following ends:


  • To operate and improve the Platform;
  • To provide effective Services and personalized services to You;
  • To perform studies, research and analysis for improving Our information, analysis, Services and technologies; and ensuring that the content and advertising displayed are customized to Your interests and preferences;
  • To contact You via phone, SMS, email or third party communication services such as WhatsApp, etc. for appointments, technical issues, payment reminders and other security announcements;
  • To send promotional mailings from Us or any of Our channel partners via SMS, email, snail mail or third-party communication services such as WhatsApp, Facebook etc.;
  • To advertise products and Services of MetaGo and third parties;
  • To transfer information about You if We are acquired by or merged with another company;
  • To share with Our affiliates, business partners, or vendors for fulfilling contractual or operational requirements of Services requested by You;
  • To administer or otherwise carry out Our legal and regulatory obligations in relation to any agreement You have with Us;
  • To build Your profile on the Platform;
  • To respond to summons, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise Our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
  • To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations of Our Terms, breach of Our Agreement with You or as otherwise required by law; and
  • To aggregate (anonymized) Personal Data for research, statistical analysis and business intelligence purposes, and to sell or otherwise transfer such research, statistical or intelligence data in an aggregated or non-personally identifiable form to third parties and affiliates.


  • Program specific Data consent: In addition to the general purposes described above, by enrolling in the Program You consent to MetaGo for:


  • Facilitating diagnostic tests through partner laboratories and receiving Your reports directly from such laboratories, which may issue reports under their own branding.
  • Using Your blood tests and other diagnostic data not only for obesity‑related care but also for analysing broader health parameters and generating evidence‑based risk scores (including metabolic, cardiovascular and endocrine risk scores) for Your information and for use by Your treating doctors and coaches.
  • Storing and processing such risk scores and related clinical inferences to personalise Your Program (including plans, reminders, reports and recommendations) and to offer additional services that may be relevant to Your risk profile.


  • Optional promotional consent: MetaGo may, from time to time, request Your separate and specific consent to use de-identified or anonymised information, photographs (where applicable), progress charts, quotations, or other elements of Your experience for marketing, promotional, or educational lmaterials. 


Such consent will be optional and will be sought only from those Users who are selected or approached for this purpose. You are not required to provide this consent to access or continue using the Services. Any use of Your information for promotional activities shall commence only after You have provided this additional consent and shall comply with applicable advertising and data-protection laws.


  • Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw any consent given to MetaGo, other than processing mandated by law, at any time using a mechanism that is as easy as the mechanism used to give consent (for example, in‑app controls, email or WhatsApp request, or through a registered consent‑manager where available). Upon withdrawal, MetaGo will cease further processing of Your Personal Data for the relevant purpose, subject to lawful retention requirements and MetaGo’s legitimate interests in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.


  • Data retention period: MetaGo shall retain all such Personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in these Terms or in the Policy, or to comply with all applicable legal, regulatory or operational requirements after which such data is deleted or irreversibly  anonymized in accordance with the Policy. 



  • Recording and storage of consultations calls: All video-consultations / IM chat consultations / text messages / audios / videos / transcripts / prescriptions / email and hard copy correspondences between Users and HCPs, shall be recorded, saved and stored for record purposes in the event such records are required to be produced as evidence on the direction of a court of law. MetaGo may review this data from time to time for quality evaluation purposes. However, under normal circumstances, MetaGo will not access any information that identifies You and shall either omit, mask or anonymize Your Personal Data at the time of quality evaluation.


  • Data sharing 


  • Data sharing authorization: MetaGo may share relevant information with doctors, coaches, laboratories and pharmacies to deliver the Services You enrol for, You authorise MetaGo to share Your Personal Data, including relevant health, medical and diagnostic information, lifestyle and wellness data and information generated by Our care team, with:


  • Affiliated doctors who provide teleconsultations and medical advice, prescribe medicines (including GLP‑1 and other anti‑obesity or metabolic medicines where clinically appropriate) and review Your diagnostic reports.


  • Health coaches and nutritionists, who receive Your diagnostic reports and doctors’ prescriptions in order to prepare root‑cause analyses, diet plans and behaviour‑change protocols, but who do not prescribe medicines.


  • Partner diagnostic laboratories and pharmacies, including e‑pharmacies and authorised distributors, for test scheduling, sample collection, report delivery, dispensing and delivery of medicines and devices.


  • Lab Data liability waiver: You acknowledge and agree that MetaGo shall have no liability whatsoever if partner diagnostic laboratories use, process, disclose, or retain Your Personal Data beyond the diagnostic testing purposes authorised by MetaGo or without obtaining Your direct consent. You expressly waive all claims against MetaGo arising from partner diagnostic laboratories' data practices.


  • Third party data process obligations: These third parties process Your data either as independent healthcare providers or as data processors acting on MetaGo’s instructions. They are responsible for complying with their own legal and regulatory obligations, including maintaining appropriate security safeguards and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare, pharmacy and data‑protection laws.


In the event of any Personal Data Breach, We will notify You at the earliest reasonable opportunity, specifying the nature of the breach, the data compromised, and the corrective measures taken.


  • International data transfer: You acknowledge that We may have to exchange, transfer, share, part with all or any of Your Personal Data, across borders and from Your country to any other countries across the world with Our affiliates / agents / third party service providers / partners / banks and financial institutions for the Purposes specified under these T&Cs or as may be required by applicable law. Such transfers shall be subject to contractual obligations ensuring adequate levels of protection equivalent to Indian data protection standards.


In the course of doing so MetaGo shall ensure that such third parties that receive information, will store and analyze the information with the same standard of care as MetaGo. However, MetaGo shall not be liable for any breach caused by cyberattacks, force majeure, or events beyond its reasonable control.


  • User content monitoring: It is hereby clarified that MetaGo does not have the obligation to pre-screen or monitor User Content at any time. However, MetaGo may elect to monitor any User Content and may modify or remove any User Content from the Platform if MetaGo determines in its sole discretion that such User Content is in violation of the Agreement or any applicable law and best practices. Where MetaGo removes any User Content from the Platform, MetaGo will make reasonable efforts to inform the Registered User who had posted such User Content.


  • User content storage and security: All User Content shall be recorded, saved and stored electronically on a secure cloud database/server managed by the Cloud Service Provider / Storage Service Provider. MetaGo shall take best efforts to ensure that the Cloud Service Provider/ Storage Service Provider uses appropriate levels of encryptions to protect data and takes all necessary precautions. MetaGo will however not be responsible for any cyber data theft from its Platform or the Cloud Service Provider’s/ Storage Service Provider’s databases. MetaGo shall maintain a detailed transaction & purchase history of Users online. MetaGo reserves the right to permanently delete User Content in case the User does not avail a Service for a period of ten years.


  • User Responsibilities:


  • Compliance with T&Cs: 


  • Your use of this Platform shall be subjected to the following terms and conditions:
  • You will observe and comply with the terms and conditions of the Agreement in letter and spirit;
  • You will provide true, full and accurate, current and complete information about Your identity, health, medical history and personal care needs and promptly update such information when it changes;
  • You will strictly adhere to the medical advice and instructions given by HCPs from time to time including instructions regarding the diet-plan, use, storage and disposal of any GLP‑1 medication and devices supplied as part of the Program;
  • You will not delete or modify any content of the Plattform including but not limited to, legal notices, disclaimers or proprietary notices such as copyright or trademark symbols, logos, that You do not own or have express permission to modify;
  • You will not decipher, decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any part of the Platform or the MetaGo content;
  • You will not use any engine, software, tool, agent or other device or mechanism (such as spiders, robots, avatars or intelligent agents) to navigate or search the Platform, except for generally available third‑party web browsers.
  • You will not remove any copyright, trademark registration, or other proprietary notices from the Platform. You further agree not to access or use this Platform in any manner that may be harmful to the operation of this Platform or its content;
  • You will not frame, mirror or hotlink or deeplink any MetaGo Content;
  • You will not use the Platform and / or Services in any way that is unlawful, or harms MetaGo or any other person or entity, as determined in the MetaGo’s sole discretion;
  • You will not engage in any form of antisocial, disrupting, or destructive acts, including “flaming”, “spamming”, “flooding”, “trolling”, “phishing” and “griefing” as those terms are commonly understood and used on the internet;
  • You will not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update or share any information that:
  • belongs to another person and over which You do not have sufficient legal rights;
  • harm minors in any way;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights(se), violates any law for the time being in force;
  • deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such messages or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature;
  • impersonate another person;
  • contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting any other nation.


  • Consequences of violation: Without prejudice to the rights that MetaGo may have under other provisions of the Agreement, where MetaGo has reasons to believe that a User has violated a term or condition of the Agreement, the MetaGo shall, in its sole discretion:
  • Suspend provision of Services;
  • Suspend the account of the User until there is enough information available with MetaGo to determine whether the User had violated a term or condition of the Agreement;
  • Suspend or terminate the account of the User where MetaGo has determined that the User had violated a term or condition of the Agreement;
  • Approach User to make good that loss or damage caused to MetaGo as a precondition to revoke the suspension;
  • Take any such action against the User as it permissible under law;
  • Raise invoice of Services availed by the User; and/or
  • Disable and/or delete such User Content that is in contravention of the Agreement while preserving such information and associated records for the purpose of production to governmental authorities for investigation purposes.


  • Payment, Fees and Taxes:


  • Fee obligation: You agree to pay all Service fees, charges, consulting fees, reasonable out of pocket expenses and any other amounts applicable to Your use of the Services as displayed on the Platform or otherwise communicated to You at the time of purchase or enrolment. The actual fee payable may depend on the specific Program selected, its duration and any add‑on services chosen by You.


  • User’s tax responsibility: You are solely responsible for payment of all taxes, legal compliances, statutory registrations and reporting. MetaGo is in no way responsible for any of the taxes except for its own income tax.


  • Online payment processing: The fees could be paid online through the facility made on the Platform. Third party payment service provider support and services are required to process online fee payment. MetaGo is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to User during this process as these third parties are beyond the control of MetaGo.


  • Tax exclusion and payment completion: All fees are exclusive of taxes. The payment process would be complete only on receipt of the amount to MetaGo’s designated bank account.


  • Invoice and payment terms: An invoice for fees against Services received by You will be generated periodically and will be intimated to You on the Platform and/or on Your contact details. You may be requested to make the payment immediately or on a deferred basis, at the sole discretion of MetaGo. In case the fees against Services are not received within the requested time frame, MetaGo reserves the right to stop provision of Services on immediate basis, permanently delete Your account and all information stored against Your account and, suspend or terminate the Agreement. You will be solely responsible for the consequences of non-payment for the fees within the requested time frame and have no right of recovery in any form against MetaGo.


  • Payment method and confidential information: In order to process the payments, MetaGo might require details of Your bank account, credit card number etc. Please check Our Policy on how MetaGo uses the confidential information provided by You.

MetaGo shall send an intimation of fee receipt through an email and/or Your contact details within seven (7) working days of fee receipt from You.


Where any of Your Personal Data are stored or analysed as part of the Service, no additional fee will be charged to You solely for the retention of such reports, unless otherwise agreed upon as part of paid packages or value-added services. 


  • EMI and Buy Now Pay Later Payment Method:


The following terms apply to any and all transactions made on the Platform using the EMI option:


  • EMI is a payment option available to Users to make payments for Services on the Platform in instalments.


  • If a User chooses If a User chooses EMI, the User will transact with one of Our lenders ("Lending Partner"). Under EMI, Lending Partner will provide a credit facility to the User ("Facility"). Lending Partner may conduct credit approval checks prior to providing the Facility. 


  • MetaGo has no role to play pertaining to the offering of the Facility or the terms, including issuance, approval, extension, pre-closure or closure which are solely determined by Lending Partner.


  • Availing and repayment of the Facility is governed by the terms notified by the Lending Partner from time to time. Repayment may be made using the Platform and/or other mechanisms made available.


  • By using EMI and availing the Facility, each User hereby fully and unconditionally releases and completely discharges MetaGo and its affiliates against any claims (howsoever arising) in respect of availing of the Facility, and all such claims (if any) will levy only against Lending Partner.


  • Offers and Promotions:


MetaGo may occasionally promote their Services and make available for You to purchase such Services on the  Platform. All promotions are for a limited period and subject to special terms and conditions, which are in addition and not to the Terms stated herein.


  • Medical Disclaimers & User Responsibilities:


  • No Outcome Guarantee: MetaGo makes no guarantees of weight loss or outcomes, except a minimum 5% weight-loss guarantee where specifically stated.


  • Side Effects: GLP-1 medications may cause side effects (nausea, gastrointestinal issues, low blood sugar, rare thyroid-related risks etc.). MetaGo shall not be liable for side effects, health-complications, or adverse events.


  • Full Disclosure Required: You must fully disclose all medical conditions, medications, allergies, history, current medications or supplements to Your treating doctor under this program. Non-disclosure may may affect Your treatment and shall be solely Your responsibility.


  • Emergency Care: Platform is not for emergencies. Seek immediate in-person care when needed.



  • Cancellation & Refund Policy


  • Program Cancellation: You may cancel Your MetaGo Program at any time through the app dashboard, by emailing at support@metago.health  from Your registered email address, or via WhatsApp support. Cancellation takes effect immediately upon receipt of Your request.


Refund Eligibility: Refunds for Programs are calculated on a pro-rata basis after deducting all fees and charges incurred up to the current month (the month in which the cancellation request is received). Completed months and services rendered are non-refundable. An administrative fee may apply.. Refunds are processed within 7-10 working days to Your original payment method.. Further details of refund maybe found under the section “All your questions answered” on our website MetaGo.health


  • Non-Refundable Cases: No refunds are available where Services have been fully delivered, legal or Program restrictions apply, cancellation occurs after applicable grace periods, or for no-shows at testing facilities.


  • Pause Requests: Temporary program pauses are subject to, doctor approval, and minimum 1-month notice, and T&Cs. Contact support to check eligibility.


  • MetaGo-Initiated Cancellation: MetaGo may terminate Your Program immediately for misrepresentation, fraud, or service abuse. No refunds apply except where required by law.


  • Processing Timeline: All requests acknowledged within 24 hours. Refunds processed within 7-10 working days with email/app notifications


  • Representations and Warranties:


  • User Representations: By Using This Platform, You hereby represent and warrant that:


  • You are 18 years of age or older and that Your use of the Platform shall not violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Where a minor may access or use the Platform or Service, You will ensure that such access or use happens through Your account and under Your personal supervision. Further, You accept to be accountable and liable for the activity of the minor on the Platform, including in respect of the Services availed on the Platform;
  • All registration information You submit is truthful and accurate and that You agree to maintain the accuracy of such information;
  • You as a Registered User will use the Platform solely for Your personal and non-commercial use; and
  • Any use of this Platform or its content other than for personal purposes is strictly prohibited.
  • You represent that You have read and understood the Privacy Notice and any service‑specific data‑collection notices presented to You and that, where You have provided consent, such consent is free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous for the purposes described


  • MetaGo Representations: MetaGo represents and warrants that:


  • It is a company duly organized under the Companies Act, 2013 and has the power and authority to provide the Services and the Platform;
  • It has all permits, approvals and licenses necessary to carry out the Services and in fulfilling its obligations hereunder;
  • By entering into the Agreement, MetaGo does not violate any of the previous arrangements entered into with other entities to which it is a party.
  • MetaGo will process Personal Data in accordance with applicable Indian data‑protection law and its Policy.



  • User Account Suspension:


  • Grounds for account suspension: In the event where a User has breached the Agreement in MetaGo’s sole judgment or when MetaGo is unable to verify or authenticate any information provided by the User to MetaGo or when or User fails to provide the consents necessary or desirable for MetaGo to provide the Services (or after providing such consent, later revokes), MetaGo reserves the right to suspend and / or terminate the User’s account and/or access to the Platform by blocking Your IP address or email id with or without notice to the User. Any suspected illegal, fraudulent or abusive activity may be grounds for suspending and/or terminating User account and/or User access to the Platform and/or Services. Upon suspension or termination, Your right to use the features on the Platform including Services shall immediately cease and MetaGo may permanently remove or delete Your information that is available with MetaGo, including but not limited to login and account information. 


  • Selective consent withdrawal: Where You withdraw consent only for a purpose, MetaGo will cease using Your data  for that purpose and may stop communicating with You for such purpose, but will not suspend or terminate Your account solely on that ground, which will be required for providing all other Services for which consent is valid /not withdrawn. 

MetaGo shall not be liable to User or any third party for any claims or damages arising out of any termination or suspension of User’s account or any other actions taken by MetaGo in connection with such account termination or suspension.

Once User’s account has been temporarily or indefinitely suspended or terminated, User may not continue to use the Platform under the same account, a different account or re-register under a new account.


  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICES:


    • Overview: Through the Platform, the Users are able to access various features and functions that are offered and available on the Platform . The specifics of the Services that are available on the Platform are subject to variation and change by Us. We reserve the right to alter the nature of these available and advertised Services, with or without notice to You. The following are the primary strata of Services that are available to the User upon accessing the Platform:


  • GLP1 Weight Management Program
  • Teleconsultation 
  • Diagnostic tests and home sample collection
  • Nutritional and behavioral coaching and progress tracking
  • Devices and digital tools (smart scale, tracking dashboards)
  • Delivery of medicines from third-party suppliers on behalf of patients
  • Such other services as MetaGo may notify from time to time


    • Use of Services


  • The Platform may be used to access MetaGo’s GLP‑1 Weight‑Management Program and other healthcare and wellness‑related Services. Depending on Your registration status and subject to the limitations and restrictions imposed by the Agreement or by MetaGo from time to time, You may avail such Services as are made available to You on the Platform.
  • The Platform may offer built‑in features such as health trackers, medication and appointment reminders, and storage and display of Your Personal Data, including Your identity and contact information, health, medical and diagnostic information, lifestyle and wellness data, technical and device information, financial and transactional information,, which You may choose to use to support Your Program.
  • The Services are personal to You, non‑transferable and intended only for the Registered User. MetaGo may, at its discretion, modify the categories of Secondary Users or the scope of Services available to them, in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.


    • Fair Usage Policy:


  • The Services provided by MetaGo are intended solely for Your personal, non‑commercial use in connection with Your own health and wellbeing. You must not use the Services or the Platform for any commercial purpose, for the benefit of third parties, or in any manner that constitutes misuse, including excessive or abusive use that is inconsistent with normal personal use.


  • MetaGo reserves the right to monitor usage patterns and to limit, suspend, disable or discontinue any Service to You if it reasonably believes that the Service is being used in conjunction with commercial activity, for commercial gain or in any way that is not intended or is otherwise in breach of these Terms.


  • Without limiting any other provisions of these Terms, You may not use this Platform for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms /or any applicable additional terms. Your access of the Platform shall be terminated immediately, in Our sole discretion, with or without notice, if You fail to comply with this provision.


  • MetaGo may update or amend this Fair Usage Policy from time to time, and any such changes will take effect when posted on the Platform.



  • Doctor Teleconsultation:


  • Overview: As part of its roster, MetaGo facilitates Teleconsultation between Registered Users and registered medical practitioners for assessment of GLP‑1 eligibility, prescription and titration of GLP‑1 medicines, and management of associated metabolic conditions. These Teleconsultations are delivered via secure video or audio platforms (for example, Google Meet or similar tools), phone calls and messaging channels such as WhatsApp, as communicated to You in advance. 


  • MetaGo's right to accept or deny Teleconsultation: MetaGo reserves the right to accept or deny Teleconsultations to any User, for reasons stated. Upon rejecting request, You shall be notified of the same, with an explanation for the rejection of the Teleconsultation request.


  • Non emergency service limitation: The Teleconsultations offered through the Platform are not for emergency situations. 


  • Target weight-loss outcomes and Service Credits: Any references in MetaGo material to target or minimum weight‑loss outcomes (such as ‘minimum 5% weight‑loss guarantee’) describe program design objectives and the conditions for eligibility for service credits or other benefits expressly provided therein. These references do not constitute a medical guarantee of results for any individual User.

"Service credits" means credits toward future MetaGo services, such as additional coaching sessions, program extensions, or equivalent non-monetary remedies, as specified from time to time.

 Where a minimum 5% reduction in baseline body weight is not achieved by the end of the Program despite the User having complied in good faith with the prescribed medical regimen, coaching protocol and monitoring requirements, MetaGo’s sole obligation will be to provide the Service Credits, or other remedies as specified in these T&Cs, and no additional medical or financial outcome is assured


  • Teleconsultation timing disclaimer: You understand that, while Teleconsultation will be provided to You in consideration of Your situation and time-sensitivity thereof, MetaGo does not guarantee, or advertise any set timelines for when Teleconsultation may be offered once requested.


  • Limited liability for delayed Teleconsultations: MetaGo will not be responsible or liable for any harm or loss that You may suffer as a result of the delay, if You elect to access those Services.


  • Preliminary intake and base line investigations: Before Your first Teleconsultation, You may be required to complete a detailed digital intake form and undergo baseline investigations (for example, blood tests listed in the Program overview or as later updated by Your HCP). These results, together with Your responses, may be used to generate root‑cause analysis (RCA) and risk‑score reports (RSR) that are shared with Your treating doctor and coaches to personalise Your treatment and coaching plan.


  • Accuracy of medical history: You further assure, that the medical history and health information provided by You during the preliminary submission of details is accurate and up to date. You promise to not hold MetaGo accountable for any deficiency as a product of using (only) the information provided during the preliminary telephonic call.


  • Teleconsultations not replacement for physical consultations: Teleconsultations are provided at the express consent by the User and the same shall not be construed as a replacement for physical consultation and the Services are meant for general consultation only. After online consultation, if it is recommended to undergo any diagnostic tests or if You are issued with a prescription, the same are provided based on the information and preliminary examination, hence the same shall not be treated as accurate, final and conclusive. HCPs reserves their rights to modify the prescription or recommended diagnostic tests if the User provides any additional information in future consultation.


  • User Responsibilities and Rights:


You understand that, in addition to the risks associated with the treatment being administered through Teleconsultation itself, Teleconsultations also bears certain risks. The following are certain affirmations required from You, understanding the risks:

  • You agree that, You have the opportunity to request an alternative medium of communication for the Teleconsultation. If You proceed with the medium allocated to you, You acknowledge all limitations of that medium.
  • You assure that You have access to the appropriate means of technology and telecommunication to attend the Teleconsultation. You agree that You have the option and opportunity to inform MetaGo of deficiency in this regard.
  • The inability to have direct, physical contact with the patient may impact the quality of service and treatment being rendered. The HCP may choose to inform You of this limitation, and if You proceed with the Teleconsultation, You acknowledge and accept any deficiency in quality as a result.
  • In certain cases, information transmitted may not be sufficient (e.g. poor resolution of images) to allow for appropriate medical decision making by the HCP(s). You agree to share any such information required by HCP to provide the appropriate medical decision.
  • In cases where the information gathered through the Teleconsultation, and preliminary call are not sufficient, You may be required to undergo testing at such laboratory that may be recommended by MetaGo..
  • In very rare instances, security protocols could fail, causing a breach of privacy of Personal Data; In that instance, You will receive a notification of the incidence, and information that may have been lost/ accessed. You agree that, best practices and protocols have been followed by MetaGo.
  • In certain cases, a lack of access to complete medical records or information may result in adverse drug interactions or allergic reactions or other judgment errors. You acknowledge and agree that if such an event occurs where You have failed to provide the appropriate information or medical history, HCP shall not be held liable. In any case, MetaGo shall not be liable for the consultation made on behalf of the HCP.
  • You understand that the diagnosis and treatment plan determined during the Teleconsultation could change based on Your condition, and that You should visit a medical professional for an in-person consultation if Your clinical condition worsens.
  • You understand that there are inherent risks involved in receiving medical services over a mobile/computer platform, which include:
        • Information transmitted may not be sufficient (e.g., poor resolution of images) to allow for appropriate medical decision making by a HCP;
        • Your HCP may neither be able to provide medical treatment to You nor provide for or arrange for care that You may require in the case of an emergency;
        • You acknowledge to not depend upon any other service provider You are/ may be engaging, in events of emergency. In such event of an emergency, You will be required to make Your own arrangements for treatment and costs. 
        • Delays in medical evaluation and treatment could occur due to deficiencies or failures of the Platform;
        • Security protocols could fail, causing a breach of privacy of Your confidential Personal Data.
        • A lack of access to complete medical records may result in errors in medical judgment.
        • MetaGo does not guarantee any outcome, from the Teleconsultation, nor  does MetaGo bear any responsibility for any medical emergency that may occur, and any expenses incurred as a result of the same, unless negligence and gross misconduct are established.
        • You agree to use GLP‑1 and any other prescribed medicines only as directed by the prescribing doctor, not to share or sell them to anyone else, and to promptly report any side‑effects or new symptoms to Your doctor or coach.
        • You agree that Medicines prescribed or supplied as part of the Program, including GLP‑1 and any other anti‑obesity or metabolic drugs, may cause side‑effects, adverse events or complications which vary from person to person. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MetaGo shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, side‑effects, complications or lack of efficacy arising from the prescription, dispensing, use or non‑use of any such medicines, even where they are facilitated or delivered through the Platform.


  • You have the following rights with respect to the Teleconsultation:
  • You have the right to withhold or withdraw consent at any time without affecting Your right to future care or treatment.
  • The laws that protect the confidentiality of Your Personal Data also apply to this Teleconsultation.
  • You also understand MetaGo and the HCPs will not disclose personally identifiable images, recordings or information from a Teleconsultation to researchers, students, journals or other third parties for nontreatment purposes without Your separate written or recorded consent. Non identifying or anonymized information (for example, aggregated statistics or deidentified case summaries) may be used or shared for research, training, analytics or publications, in accordance with applicable law and the Policy.


  • No Doctor-Patient Relationship:


MetaGo engages and onboards HCPs, including doctors and health coaches, to deliver consultations, prescriptions, diagnostics review and coaching through the Platform; however, MetaGo itself does not practice medicine or provide medical advice or diagnosis. Any doctor–patient relationship is created directly between You and the individual HCP who provides Your consultation, issues Your prescription (including for GLP‑1 medicines) or interprets Your diagnostic reports, even where such HCP has been hired, empanelled or otherwise engaged by MetaGo. Each HCP (doctor) exercises their own independent judgement, while obtaining an adequate history, while making an appropriate diagnosis, and while prescribing or advising on treatment in accordance with applicable medical standards and law. 

 

Please note that some of the content, text, data, graphics, images, information, suggestions, guidance, and other material  that may be available on the Platform (including information provided in direct response to Your questions or postings) is generated by HCPs. The provision of such Information does not create a doctor-patient relationship between MetaGo and You. Such Information does not constitute an opinion, medical advice, or diagnosis or treatment of any particular condition, but is only provided to assist You with locating appropriate advice from a qualified HCP.


  • Information Regarding HCP and Services:


Information about HCPs and about MetaGo’s Services made available on the Platform is intended for general reference only. Such information may be based on details supplied by HCPs or partners and may change frequently; it can therefore become incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. You are encouraged to independently verify any material information about an HCP or Service (such as qualifications, experience, location, availability or pricing) before relying on it or deciding to engage that HCP.) 


  • Prescription Drugs:


MetaGo may facilitate the purchase and home delivery of prescription medicines through partner pharmacies and distributors, where such medicines have been prescribed by HCPs associated with MetaGo or by other registered medical practitioners. MetaGo itself does not prescribe, manufacture or dispense medicines.




To the extent medicines are dispensed and delivered by partner pharmacies, distributors, or logistics providers, You acknowledge that MetaGo does not control the storage, handling, shipping or last-mile delivery of such medicines. While MetaGo will use reasonable efforts to coordinate with such partners, MetaGo shall not be liable for delays, rescheduling, or failure of delivery caused by such third parties or by factors beyond MetaGo's reasonable control, except to the limited extent expressly required by applicable law (for example, refund or re-delivery obligations)


MetaGo makes no independent claims regarding the outcomes, efficacy, or safety of GLP-1 drugs. Any such claims or information shall be governed solely by the manufacturer's approved labeling, package insert, and regulatory disclosures.



  • Process for onboarding customers and initiating coaching sessions:


  • After You purchase a MetaGo Program, a MetaGo representative will usually contact You within 7 days via Your registered mobile number or email to explain Program components, expected timelines, and how to book Your first HCP consultation and baseline diagnostics. 
  • Based on Your availability, blood tests and other diagnostics will be scheduled with a partner laboratory (home sample collection where applicable). Test results will be shared digitally via email, WhatsApp, or SMS as soon as available. 
  • Once reports are ready, MetaGo will arrange a doctor consultation and health coaching session to review Your history and results. Where clinically appropriate, the doctor may prescribe GLP-1 based weight-management medications and clear You for Program onboarding.
  • Once You enroll for a specific plan, a MetaGo health coach will then conduct Your onboarding session, explain Your personalized plan, and agree on a coaching calendar
  • Doctor consultations will be scheduled at the frequency specified for Your Program (e.g., weekly or bi-weekly) and may be adjusted based on progress and clinical needs


  • Health Monitoring:


  • MetaGo Programs may include remote monitoring features such as connected devices (for example, smart scales), symptom checking, medication and appointment reminders, and periodic review of Your logs and diagnostic reports by doctors and coaches. These tools are intended to support, and not replace, regular in person clinical care and self-monitoring, and MetaGo does not provide in person nursing, attendant or emergency services.
  • MetaGo will use reasonable skill and care in operating these remote monitoring features but provides them on a best‑effort basis and cannot guarantee that every reading, alert or message will be received, reviewed or acted upon in real time. You remain responsible for tracking Your symptoms, taking medicines as prescribed, and seeking in‑person medical attention or emergency care when needed


  • Diagnostic tests and lab services


The Platform books diagnostic tests with MetaGo’s partner laboratories as part of Your Program. Subject to completion of registration and payment (where applicable), You may

  • View available tests and select those that meet Your requirements.
  • Select any of the options: (i) visiting at any of Our testing facility(ies) to give sample; or (ii) home service (if available, at the nearest testing facility) in which case MetaGo shall send its representative(s) to Your home for collection of the sample.
  • After collection of Your sample, You will receive Your order ID and other details by e-mail on Your registered e-mail ID or by SMS/WhatsApp on Your registered mobile number.
  • Once Your test report is ready, You will receive a link to download Your test report by e-mail on Your registered e-mail ID or by SMS/WhatsApp on Your registered mobile number.


    • Terms of Lab Tests:


  • The Services are non-transferable i.e. only the person in whose name the test is assigned at the time of booking will be eligible to avail the Services.
  • Booking is to be done as per the slot selected by You.
  • You are required to carry a photo-identification card and Your Order ID at the time of the visit to the testing facility or at the time of availing home service.
  • MetaGo reserves the right to change the nature of Services as mentioned above at its sole discretion and by notifying the same on the Platform.
  • You should take all the responsibility for Your actions in availing the Services though use of the Platform and MetaGo shall not be liable for any such action.
  • You confirm and acknowledge that MetaGo shall not be liable or responsible for any deficiency in payment of consideration payable towards the Services booked by You through use of the Platform. In case of any deficiency in payment of consideration by You, MetaGo is not bound to provide You a test report.
  • MetaGo shall not offer any refund against the Services already booked through use of the Platform unless any error has occurred during the booking of Services.


    • Delivery of Test Report(s):


Once Your test report(s) is(are) ready, You will receive a link to download Your test report(s) by e-mail on Your registered e-mail ID or by SMS/WhatsApp/App/Website on Your registered mobile number. The test report(s) shall take a time of 1-7 days (excluding Sundays). Any additional information may be required from You during testing process which needs to be furnished by You within 24 hours by You from the time it was informed to You to get testing results on time. All attempts will be made to deliver on the preferred date of delivery, but MetaGo will not be held liable if the delivery does not take place on that day due to any unforeseen reasons or circumstances.



OTHER TERMS:



  • Sub-contracting:


Nothing in these Terms prevents MetaGo from sub‑contracting or delegating the performance of any part of the Services to third‑party service providers, partners or contractors, or from procuring new services from such third parties, as MetaGo considers appropriate. MetaGo will remain responsible, to the extent required under applicable law and under these Terms, for the overall provision of the Services to Users, without prejudice to any separate obligations owed directly by such third parties (for example, labs, pharmacies or HCPs) under law.


  • Confidentiality:


MetaGo will treat Your non‑public information that it receives in connection with the Services as confidential and will not, during Your enrolment in a Program or during the period for which such information is retained, use or disclose it for any purpose other than those described in these Terms, the Policy or the applicable Service‑specific terms, except with Your consent or as permitted or required by law.


If MetaGo is required by a court order, governmental direction or other legal process to disclose confidential information, MetaGo may do so to the extent legally required. Where practicable and lawful, MetaGo will provide You with prior notice of such requirement so that You may seek a protective order or other appropriate remedy. If You do not obtain such protection within a reasonable time, MetaGo may comply with the legal requirement and will use reasonable efforts to seek confidential treatment of the information disclosed.


  • Limitation of Liability:


To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will MetaGo or its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, service providers or partners (collectively, the “Protected Entities”) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages (including loss of business, revenue, profits, goodwill or data) arising out of or in connection with Your use of or inability to use the Platform or the Services, or any materials, information, products or functions on the Platform, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, even if MetaGo has been advised of the possibility of such damages.


To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of the Protected Entities for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Platform and the Services shall not exceed the total amount of fees actually paid by You to MetaGo for the specific Program or Service giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event on which the claim is based.


MetaGo is not responsible for any acts, omissions, errors or failures of independent third‑party providers (including laboratories, pharmacies, logistics partners, payment gateways and other vendors), or for any services You choose to obtain from out‑of‑network providers, even if accessed through or referenced on the Platform.


MetaGo specifically disclaims liability for: (a) preexisting medical conditions; (b) adverse drug reactions or complications not directly caused by MetaGo's negligence; (c) sudden escalation of a medical condition or emergencies where critical health information was not disclosed by You; and (d) medical emergencies occurring during treatment where the underlying cause is not directly attributable to negligence of the relevant service provider.


Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused directly by MetaGo’s negligence or for fraud.


  • Indemnification:


You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless MetaGo and the other Protected Entities from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, demands, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) Your use of the Platform or the Services; (b) Your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law, rule or regulation; (c) any misrepresentation, wrongful or negligent act or omission by You; (d) any User Content submitted or made available by You that infringes or violates any intellectual property or other rights of any third party; or (e) any unauthorised use of Your account or credentials


  • Termination:

These Terms remain in effect while You access or use the Platform or any Services. You may terminate Your relationship with MetaGo at any time by writing to < support@metago.health> from Your registered email address; MetaGo may need a reasonable period to deactivate Your account and complete any ongoing Services, subject to applicable law.


MetaGo may suspend or terminate Your access to the Platform and/or Services, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if it reasonably believes that: (a) any information You have provided is false, misleading or incomplete; (b) You fail to make required payments; (c) You misuse the Platform or behave abusively towards HCPs, staff or other users; (d) providing or continuing Services would pose a risk to the safety of HCPs or staff; or (e) MetaGo is no longer able to provide the Services due to operational, legal or regulatory reasons.


Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, limitations of liability, indemnities, intellectual‑property provisions, confidentiality obligations and payment terms) shall continue to apply after termination.


  • Modifications:


MetaGo may, from time to time, modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Platform or nonpaid tools, features or ancillary Services, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice, provided that such changes do not materially reduce any paid benefits already purchased unless required by law or for security or operational reasons.


When MetaGo updates these Terms and Conditions, We will notify You through an email. Alternatively, MetaGo may cause Your account to be logged-off in and make Your subsequent account log-in conditional on acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If You do not agree to the changes, please do not access or use the Platform and the Services any further.


MetaGo may update these Terms periodically. Where required by law or where changes are material, MetaGo will notify You (for example, by email, in‑Platform notice or at next login) and may require You to accept the revised Terms before continuing to use the Platform or Services. If You do not agree to the updated Terms, You should stop using the Platform and the Services.


  • Applicable Law, Jurisdiction of Courts and Dispute Resolution:


These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or with the Platform or the Services are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.


All the parties to the Agreement shall be bound to submit all disputes and differences howsoever arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions to arbitration by one (1) arbitrator, mutually appointed by such parties. The arbitration shall be governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 as amended from time to time. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra. Subject to the aforesaid, the competent courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction to grant urgent interim reliefs to the parties.


Nothing in this clause prevents either party from approaching a court of competent jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra for interim or injunctive relief, including to protect confidentiality, intellectual property rights or to enforce data protection obligations, pending completion of the arbitration.


  • Miscellaneous:


If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or arbitral tribunal to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be deemed modified or, if necessary, severed to the minimum extent required, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect and be interpreted so as to give effect, as far as possible, to the original intent of the parties.


All notices or communications required or permitted under these Terms must be in English and in writing. Notices to MetaGo should be sent to its registered office address or to the email address notified on the Platform for this purpose; notices to You may be sent to the email address and/or mobile number registered with Your account.


No waiver of any term of these T&Cs shall be effective unless in writing and signed or confirmed by MetaGo. Any failure or delay by MetaGo in enforcing any provision shall not be deemed a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other provision.



MetaGo shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including cyber‑attacks, acts of God, governmental actions, natural disasters, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, internet or telecommunications failures, or denial‑of‑service attacks.


You may not assign, transfer or sub‑license Your rights or obligations under these Terms without MetaGo’s prior written consent. MetaGo may assign or transfer its rights and obligations to any affiliate or successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets.


By registering on the Platform, You consent to receive communications from MetaGo (including transactional messages, Service updates and security alerts) by email, SMS, WhatsApp or phone to Your registered contact details. You may manage Your preferences for promotional communications as described in the Privacy Policy.



  • Grievance Redressal Mechanism:


MetaGo has appointed a Grievance Officer to address concerns relating to the Platform, the Services, HCPs, payments and the processing of Personal Data. The current contact details of the Grievance Officer are provided in the Policy and on the Platform. You may write to grievance support@metago.health with a clear description of Your concern, and MetaGo will endeavour to respond within the timelines required under applicable law.



GLOSSARY:


  • “Platform” means the website https://metago.health and any other web based or online channels operated by MetaGo (including designated WhatsApp business accounts); 
  • “HCP Registered Users” are Registered Users whose profile has a unique identifier attached to it including but not limited to a professional body registration number, UHID (unique health identification) or UMR (unique medical record). HCP Registered Users may not be permitted to access to certain areas of the Platform.
  • “Non-Registered Users” are users who have not registered themselves on the Platform. Non-Registered Users may not be provided access to certain areas of the Platform.
  • “Teleconsultation” or “Telemedicine Services” means the video or phone appointments between a You and the HCPs.
  • “Users” - Registered Users, HCP Registered Users and Non-Registered Users shall be individually or collectively referred to as Users.
